It for me has everything I want in an RPG, but if you're looking for what you got in let's say "I want to play an evil character" in FO4, you'll get tiny bits of it, but not to the lengths of the other games. Land to explore, experience/leveling up, items and gear to discover to make my character stronger, hidden and special quests and missions to find, random people that I can meet to either help or bring them along with my journey, and the ability to complely go off the track of what the main story wants me to do and do my own thing. It's an RPG and it has all the elements that "I" personally look for in an RPG. Then there's those that like the "roll of the dice" and skill points and so on and so forth which once again the game don't have. In general of what I hear people wants out of RPGS (or WRPGS in general I guess), this game doesn't offer that.įallout 3 for example you can either nuke Megaton and lose out the options on a top of quests, a house, some npcs and other things, Fallout 4 (at least from what I've experiences so far) don't have drastic choices like that. To me? It's an RPG and plays how I play RPGs. I'm going to say yes and no to just be Satan's advocate here.
